LONE CROW, WHITE-OUT

Crows are seen by some as noisy and annoying, by others as smart and creative, and by still others as symbols of magic, luck, insight and trickery. I guess they can be all of those things. I just like them. I've painted them a number of times, in each case presenting them as a positive presence with a sometimes edgy creative intelligence. This painting is in that spirit. (And, by the way, is mirrored in on of the small figures on the left side of another painting, titled Duende 2.)
